We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@vacca-nutrition.co.uk.

What we collect

When you contact us or submit the form on this site, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, farm type, approximate herd size, and anything you tell us about your situation. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence.

If you download a calculator report, we collect your email address, herd size, county, your name if you choose to give it, and the figures in your report.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver consultancy services, and keep in touch about work we are doing for you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, where we work together, performance of a contract. We do not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell your data.

We keep a record of calculator report requests. We only contact you about your results if you tick the box asking us to, and you can withdraw that at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

Your details are seen only by Vacca Nutrition. We use trusted service providers to host this website and manage email, who process data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes. We do not share your information with any feed company, supplier, or other third party. That includes our sister brand Nuvitrace: an enquiry to Vacca Nutrition is never passed on as a sales lead.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand overall visitor numbers. Umami sets no cookies and collects no personal information; visits are anonymised and cannot be linked to you. Our free calculators run entirely in your browser. Your inputs are not sent to us unless you request a PDF report.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months if we do not end up working together. Client records are kept for the duration of our work and for 6 years afterwards, in line with standard business and tax requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to our use of it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Email info@vacca-nutrition.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
